Energy Research and Writing

In this activity, students research and write about the pros and cons of different energy types.

• Assign students texts from your school or community library, or sign up for a free Epic! Account.
• Model taking notes using the Energy Research Template.
• Students can work independently, in pairs, or in small groups.
• Jigsaw the information by grouping students from each type of energy together to share.
  

This assignment describes energy sources, applications, and methods by which students can learn more about them and suggest the most effective ones to apply in the context of their community.
